Palacios Construction Group is a family-owned remodeling and construction company serving Willis, Montgomery County, and the greater Houston area. We build driveways and patios, remodel kitchens and bathrooms, and handle full-scale renovations, and we do it the way a family business should: with honest communication, fair pricing, and craftsmanship we are proud to put our name on.
Two Generations in the Trade
The Palacios family has been in construction since 1985, when Joel's father started out in Austin, Texas. Joel grew up around the trade and learned it the way the best builders do, on the job, from a father who took pride in his work. Over the years, the family business grew and evolved, from his father's early work to Palacios Painting and Remodeling and, today, Palacios Renovations.
In 2017, Joel started his own company. His father is still working and runs his own business, and Joel runs Palacios Construction Group. From his father, Joel kept the knowledge that matters most on a job site: how to manage the workflow of a project, coordinate crews, and keep a job moving smoothly from start to finish. What he has added is a stronger focus on clear customer communication and running the business in a modern way, while keeping the values the family was built on.
Meet Joel Palacios
Joel is a builder, a family man, and a pastor. When he is not running Palacios Construction Group, he is attending to his church and his family. That sense of service and integrity carries straight into how he treats clients and their homes.
Early in his career, Joel learned an important lesson the hard way: you can never overcommunicate or document too much. Since then, he makes sure expectations, changes, costs, and payment details are clearly explained and put in writing, and he takes before-and-after photos of every project. It is a simple discipline that protects clients and builders alike, and it is one of the reasons our projects run smoothly and our clients trust us.
Joel runs the business alongside his wife, who is his working partner, so when you call Palacios, you are talking to the family that owns the company, not a call center or an answering service.
